Taltson Bay Big Pike Lodge is a family-owned business that Donald Balsillie established in 1987. Taltson Bay is within the First Nation's Territory known as "Akaitcho Territory".

Situated on the Southeastern edge of Great Slave Lake within the breathtaking Northwest Territories, Taltson Bay emerges as a pristine and exceptionally remote fly-in retreat. Renowned globally among anglers, this destination boasts unrivaled opportunities for landing numerous trophy-sized Northern Pike, earning its reputation as one of the premier locations for fishing adventurers worldwide.

Taltson Bay Big Pike Lodge opens the 3rd-4th week of May and closes the 1st-2nd week of October

The lodge can comfortably accommodate 12 guests per week.

The lodge is powered by a diesel generator which operates from 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM

You will have 5 or 7 days of fishing upon arrival.

Guided groups start at 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM each day, with an hour lunch break

DEPOSIT: A deposit is required for all bookings and will be applied at checkout. A $1000 U.S. deposit is required at booking. Balance is due May 1st. All deposits are non-refundable but will be credited to another available date the same season or the following season only.

BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the trip date as either Credit or Cash.

TIPPING: Tips to your Fishing guide are greatly appreciated for your quality trip.

A full refund (minus deposit) will be issued providing we receive notification of cancellation in writing 30 days in advance of your scheduled arrival.
